My Reason For Loving Photography!!!

I never really thought about photography until I gave birth to my beautiful son Taylor. My miracle baby!! After Taylor was born I couldn't have his picture made enough and couldn't take enough pictures of him myself. I feel in love with him and the camera!! I could make a book with the pictures I have of that boy. I only have a few old ones on my computer so I will share those and some new ones. BTW~ That baby is about to be 11!!! I can't believe it!!!

These are from our really good friends' wedding. We had such a great time.....our whole family was in it!! The two titled True and Love are my favorite, it is the groom's mother and father and the pictures really show how much they love each other. I think they are such an inspiration for all of us young couples. I hope my marriage is as great as theirs when our boy's are grown. Sorry for the coloring on some....I can't seem to master the black and white yet!!!

My brother created the announcement that is shown. He is the EXPERT at photoshop!!! The color on here turned out terrible on the announcemet. I will try to fix it later.

I started reading my Photoshop for dummies book last night so hopefully I will understand some of the tools better and be able to do all the neat things I see on others photographs!! I am going to post some more stuff I have done....again some old and some new!!!

Photoshop....

Well I am TRYING to learn photoshop....this is something I just can't seem to wrap my brain around. I am just playing with it all and sometimes I actually get a picture that looks pretty good. Here are some of my latest creations!!! Oh, and sorry for the snotty nose on Jesse....I just thought his face was so cute in that picture.

My First Blog!! YAY!!!

This is my very first blog for my new photography venture. About 10 years ago I REALLY started studying photography and went to Texas School a couple of times and took some college classes but as time progressed my family grew and I just stopped learning. And now things are SO different and everything is digital. I have a canon rebel and can take some pretty good pictures but I have SO much to learn!! My boys are 11, 5 and 2 so I find myself with more time to learn. The first pictures I am going to share are some recent engagement pictures that I took of my brother and his fiance. I love them both....they are a beautiful couple!!! My brother did the photo shop on some of the pictures. Enjoy!!!
